// about me //

After beginning my working life in advertising and the public service, I ignored the niggling, itchy feeling I had in my gut that left brain, logical work probably wasn’t going to cut the mustard for me long term. Anyway, I kept plugging along… until I moved to Sydney and in 2010, eventually bit the bullet and quit my Government job to pursue a Bachelor of Design majoring in Styling and Creative Direction at the Whitehouse Institute of Design in Surry Hills.

3 years of illustration, Adobe creative design, photo shoots, hands on styling and art… ABSOLUTE BLISS! I was a finalist in the Domayne Discovery Award, appearing in Marie Claire and Home Beautiful Magazine and it was then that I couldn’t decide on any one discipline, I love it ALL. After uni I worked as an intern with Complete Wedding Magazine assisting on fashion shoots and compiling style features and then moved into the wedding industry, working on the first ever Australian Bridal Fashion Week. After a few months working freelance as a fashion and product stylist, it was time to find a place to call home and that… for me was the Far South Coast.

After leaving the big smoke, I turned a focus to weddings and interiors and have completed various projects freelance including anything from mini glow ups to concepts for renovation and a new build. Currently I work back in the fashion industry, however all aspects of styling and creative concepts tickle my fancy (as I like to put it) and therefore I allow myself some time in the week for many creative projects with my own clients.

If you’re after a creative with enthusiasm and energy who’s passionate about colour, texture and all things aesthetically pleasing then I may just be your girl!

xx
